Past CMHS president Moses Acee will be joining us to talk about a book that he has put together: "The Recorder. Clark Mills Historical Society: 10 Years of Bern's Ramblings & Other Stories. 1996-2006". It is a compilation of the first 10 years of The Recorder started by Bernie Jones. In 1943, a woman named Elaine C. Roehrig made her first flight and decided that she had to become a flight instructor. Three jobs and 1 1/2 years later, she did just that! After an illustrious career, she received , in 2004, the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot award and still flies today. .....Moses Acee will present a videotaped interview with this amazing lady at the next meeting of the Clark Mills Historical Society at 7pm on Wednesday, January 15th.

Meeting: June 16, 2021 at 7pm. Speaker will be Bill Robinson , Society member and historical researcher.
